I recorded this material from May to about December 2016. I wanted to limit myself to using the no-input mixer (basically tuned closed circuit feedback) as the main instrument. My former life as a singer songwriter creeps into the first piece a little, in the form of some harmonized vocal humming. Aside from that, there are smatterings of Wurlitzer, mostly just to re-enforce some of the melodies inherent in the no-input layers.

This is the first release for Funktionslust, a label that I founded to put this kind of music out into the world. There will be more offerings, increasingly in collaboration with other musicians, I hope!
